I’ve photographed little miss T a couple times before my move. But this was the first time I got to meet and smooch baby D. They travelled a little bit for the session, but I do believe that they liked the countryside here between Denton & Easton, MD. I love having such diverse and unique places to shoot… from country field to urban sidewalk in just minutes.

On to their precious photos~

Thanks for coming out T & D! Hope we get to play again soon!

Mama contacted me ages ago to set up a surprise shoot for her husband, who is actively serving for our country. I have a big heart for military families, and for women who are holding down the fort while dads are serving. Its a hard job, and I thank all the American Service people who are working so hard.

Back to the session… lol… Mama and her kids trekked out and we had a great time shooting around Caroline & Talbot counties. I’ve found some really neat location spots. And just look at how stunning they are all!

What a great family, what a fantastic session! See you again when Daddy comes home, McD’s!

here is what i know.

this family, this family right here… are some of the best and most generous people on this planet.

this family stepped out and helped my family when we were in need.  this family loved us, held our hands, and helped walk us through a tough time.

is this a little personal for a photography blog?  sure.  but i love this family.  they are my people.

my people… love you dearly.

xoxo

Merry Christmas & Happy New Years!

Seth

Seth (7) started 1st Grade this fall, and is already reading on a 2nd Grade level. He loves to build anything lego and is obsessed with anything Star Wars. Seth loves Tron and Phineas & Ferb.

Lucas

Lucas (4.5) is writing his name… backwards, forwards and upside down. He lives and breathes trains, and has no prejudice over which brand. Thomas, Geo Trax, Lionel… you name it. He really likes The Polar Express & Chuggington.

Audrey

Audrey (2.5) throws punches and drop-kicks, while wearing all of her necklaces and bracelets. She refuses to use the potty whatsoever. She loves “Sesmee Street” and Mickey Mouse Clubhouse.

Nate and I celebrated our 10th anniversary this year. Nate started the year as a Youth Pastor, and has ended the year accepted into Sheriff’s Academy. Big changes coming to our family! We moved two hours away to the Eastern Shore of Maryland this summer, and hopefully photography clientele will pick up for me this coming year. We are grateful to be living closer to family and watching God work in our life.

I’ve been shooting for years…. into the double digits now… but this was the first time I’ve ever photographed twins.  I won’t lie… Mama L won’t lie… it was tough work.  One twin would get upset, sparking the other to also fuss.

But, ever the conquerer… we did it!  We had a great session, and I got great expressions from these two darling L boys.  The title?  Words to a little song that Gramma would sing to get them to look up and smile.  It was so sweet.

A precious squeeze for Gramma….

Thank you L family for bring the boys to me! Happy First Birthday!

Yikes! I am so behind in my blogging!

I went to High School with Mrs. H… dare I even mention Middle School? ;) Its been years since we’ve seen each other, so I can tell you with perfect honesty that Mrs H hasn’t changed one bit. She looks just as lovely now as she did back in the *ahem* mid-nineties.

I got to meet her gorgeous kids, and her daughter is just her little clone! Down to some of the brightest blue eyes you have EVER seen. We shot the session behind her parents’ home in Centreville, MD, here on the Eastern Shore.

It was great catching up B!

I met both Mr. & Mrs. T waaaay back in the stone ages of 6th grade. All three of us shared many classes together through Middle and High School. It’s a fun fact that Mr. & Mrs. T didn’t even actually date and marry, till after college. But I’m thrilled they did. Its always lovely to see two friends fall in love. And of course… start their family. Meet our little Ravens Fan… JP!

Thanks T family… and when is our cookout happening again? ;)

I just love the Z family. They are a four-peat family. Little Audrey is near and dear to my heart, and I’ve just loved watching her grow from a newborn, six months, one year and now… all the way to two years old.  She’s grown in beauty and grace, and I’ve really enjoyed chatting with mom & dad during our sessions.    Without further adieu…

Thanks Z family!

This baby girl is so blessed. And oh-so-pretty. She was just an adorable baby doll for me.  Can you believe those long lashes and those pouty lips?  Watch out Dad!

Thanks K family for choosing Andrea Burns Photography!

I met up with this adorable family at a nearby field for one of my wildflower sessions. The evening of our session couldnt have been a more beautiful and these kids were just ADORABLE in their outfits.  Mama taught them great manners too… as I would try to direct Miss M, and she’d politely say “No thank you.”  Lol, she was a doll, and we persuaded her anyway.   Enjoy this session of these beautiful children!
