Webb Wedding… {eastern shore maryland wedding photographer}
October 16, 2011It was a warm August day when L & P wed in a beautiful ceremony. Just a few days prior had been a terrible storm, and everyone was fretting about the weather… that is, except the bride herself! The old stone church was gorgeous and perfect, as was the bride, groom, and their three flower girls in attendance. I just adored the Bride’s dress… which she had affectionately named “Lucy.” The reception was held at a local winery, and was relaxed and laid back. I couldn’t have asked for a better time!
Many congrats and blessings L & P!
28/52 Sixty Years Strong…
July 19, 2010Sixty years ago two of the most beautiful people in my life, met and married and started a long lasting legacy**. My grandparents “Granny & Goodaddy.” They met at Toccoa Falls College in the late 1940′s. They courted, and on a choir trip, my Gooddaddy asked Granny to marry him.

Two daughters (plus spouses), five grandchildren (and three spouses), and four great-grandchildren later, we all gathered in North Carolina to celebrate sixty years of wedded bliss. I love how they love each other. They tease each other, he calls her his “Sweet Baboo.” They hold hands, they pray together.

Happy 60th Anniversary to the sweetest and gentlest people I know and cherish. I love you both so much.

**Out of the above mentioned 14 adults, Ten are Toccoa Falls Graduates, Three more having attended at least a year.
May 15, 2010 was a GORGEOUS day to get married. A bright and warm sun, and a quaint country backyard filled with close family and friends. This was a truly intimate affair, but the highlight that day was watching Susan & Todd get married. Susan & Todd are from Colorado, but chose to get married in his parent’s backyard. They are foodies, and the foods at this wedding were AMAZING. In fact, during our consultation, Susan told me to forget shooting her, as long as I got photos of the food! LOL, I did both, as she was a stunning bride!

All Because Two People Fell in Love… {washington dc wedding photography}
December 17, 2009Don’t you just love the title? It was on a distressed tile in the bridal house, and so fitting for this beautiful couple. Kathleen & Gianni were married on a wet day in October. They chose a very intimate location, complete with historic chapel and gorgeous grounds… sadly because of the rain I didn’t get to shoot as much on grounds as I had hoped.
I really did enjoy myself at this wedding, I love it when a family takes me in, treats me as one of their own… I end up always feeling like one of the family and SO HAPPY I was a part of their special day.

Many blessings in your new life together Kathleen & Gianni!
Anne & Bryant say “I Do” {maryland wedding photographer}
October 16, 2009It started as a hot, sunny late July day. It was the perfect day for Anne and Bryant to get married! This was a very special couple… you could feel their love for each other just emanating off of them! They were both so handsome and have such beautiful souls. It was my first time shooting with a second shooter. Beth Kubovcik of Sugar Rush Photography. We had SO much fun together… She is so talented!
Now onto the show….

And of course, it ended in a spectacular thunderstorm! Congrats and best wishes to Anne & Bryant!
Recently, I had the privilege of shooting Caitlin & Luke’s wedding day. It was a hot, sunny, but gorgeous day in the beginning of August. They were a fun couple incorporating many personal things into their wedding day to personalize the experience for everyone.

Caitlin & Luke, I wish you a life of happiness together!
