I’ve been shooting for years…. into the double digits now… but this was the first time I’ve ever photographed twins.  I won’t lie… Mama L won’t lie… it was tough work.  One twin would get upset, sparking the other to also fuss.

But, ever the conquerer… we did it!  We had a great session, and I got great expressions from these two darling L boys.  The title?  Words to a little song that Gramma would sing to get them to look up and smile.  It was so sweet.

A precious squeeze for Gramma….

Thank you L family for bring the boys to me! Happy First Birthday!

Yikes! I am so behind in my blogging!

I went to High School with Mrs. H… dare I even mention Middle School? ;) Its been years since we’ve seen each other, so I can tell you with perfect honesty that Mrs H hasn’t changed one bit. She looks just as lovely now as she did back in the *ahem* mid-nineties.

I got to meet her gorgeous kids, and her daughter is just her little clone! Down to some of the brightest blue eyes you have EVER seen. We shot the session behind her parents’ home in Centreville, MD, here on the Eastern Shore.

It was great catching up B!

I met both Mr. & Mrs. T waaaay back in the stone ages of 6th grade. All three of us shared many classes together through Middle and High School. It’s a fun fact that Mr. & Mrs. T didn’t even actually date and marry, till after college. But I’m thrilled they did. Its always lovely to see two friends fall in love. And of course… start their family. Meet our little Ravens Fan… JP!

Thanks T family… and when is our cookout happening again? ;)

I just love the Z family. They are a four-peat family. Little Audrey is near and dear to my heart, and I’ve just loved watching her grow from a newborn, six months, one year and now… all the way to two years old.  She’s grown in beauty and grace, and I’ve really enjoyed chatting with mom & dad during our sessions.    Without further adieu…

Thanks Z family!

This baby girl is so blessed. And oh-so-pretty. She was just an adorable baby doll for me.  Can you believe those long lashes and those pouty lips?  Watch out Dad!

Thanks K family for choosing Andrea Burns Photography!

I met up with this adorable family at a nearby field for one of my wildflower sessions. The evening of our session couldnt have been a more beautiful and these kids were just ADORABLE in their outfits.  Mama taught them great manners too… as I would try to direct Miss M, and she’d politely say “No thank you.”  Lol, she was a doll, and we persuaded her anyway.   Enjoy this session of these beautiful children!

Thanks V family for choosing Andrea Burns Photography!

Mama H contacted me about shooting a session of her boys, to surprise their active-duty daddy. I just thought it was the sweetest idea! These boys were very sweet, the oldest telling me all about his adventures with his “puppy.” The youngest was a tough cookie, he certainly loves his Mama… and I had to work hard and sing LOUD for the baby smile you see below. But score! I got it! Victory was mine!

Thanks H family… and Dad…. hope you like them too!

Little Lathan was a wee peanut of barely 5 pounds. He is the spitting image of his father.  These newborn images are a little different, as I shot them on-location, all natural light.  I love it when my clients have huge windows.  This pose below is one of my all-time favorites.  The little foot sticking out slays me every time!  And its only sleeping infants under 10 days old that can bend that way.

And one of Lathan with his Daddy….

So sweet! Thank you L family for choosing Andrea Burns Photography!

Remember my most recent Maternity Session?  Well, meet baby Markos, he finally made his debut!  He’s close to 4 weeks young in these photos already, but he was still a tiny sleepy peanut.  And let me tell you, he’s just the joy in his parents’ life.  Without further adieu . . .

Thank you G for choosing me to capture this amazingly wonderful time in your lives!

Precious and priceless, so lovable, too- The world’s sweetest miracle, baby, is you. ~ Helen Steiner Rice

Every baby is a sweet, sweet miracle. This perfect, beautiful baby girl was such a sweet mix of both her mommy and daddy.  I love when I gaze at a baby, and see their sweet expressions and think of the endless possibilities that lay ahead… Little Victoria is just breathtaking!

Big Brother C is so smitten… and just dashing, don’t you think?

Thank you so much precious I family!!
