I just love the Z family. They are a four-peat family. Little Audrey is near and dear to my heart, and I’ve just loved watching her grow from a newborn, six months, one year and now… all the way to two years old.  She’s grown in beauty and grace, and I’ve really enjoyed chatting with mom & dad during our sessions.    Without further adieu…

Thanks Z family!

I met up with this adorable family at a nearby field for one of my wildflower sessions. The evening of our session couldnt have been a more beautiful and these kids were just ADORABLE in their outfits.  Mama taught them great manners too… as I would try to direct Miss M, and she’d politely say “No thank you.”  Lol, she was a doll, and we persuaded her anyway.   Enjoy this session of these beautiful children!

Thanks V family for choosing Andrea Burns Photography!

I have had clients that I’ve only seen once. I have had clients come back twice. I’ve even had a few “threepeats.” But these W-kids? FOURpeat family! I’ve photographed them three times on their lovely property, and this time I had them in for a Studio shakeup! I LOVE how bright and bold these turned out!

Let me tell you, the only boy in this bunch… “J”… he’s going to make a GREAT husband someday! He was nothing but sweet and cooperative the whole time, even with sisters pushing all over him, lol. Thank you again, again, and AGAIN W family!

Beautiful.

Charming.

Loved.

Adored.

Cherished.

{The G family}

Remember my most recent Maternity Session?  Well, meet baby Markos, he finally made his debut!  He’s close to 4 weeks young in these photos already, but he was still a tiny sleepy peanut.  And let me tell you, he’s just the joy in his parents’ life.  Without further adieu . . .

Thank you G for choosing me to capture this amazingly wonderful time in your lives!

I really love a great referral. I fall in love with my clients, and its just a treat when they share my name, and I get to meet and photograph their own special peoplMrs. M is the cousin of another fabulous friend and client. Mr. M was also a youth pastor, just like my own husband. Connections like that are rare and fun. Mr. M however, is deploying as a military chaplain shortly, so they contacted me to preserve their beautiful family just as they are right now.

Mrs. M read my What To Wear guide, and really followed it’s advice. They look great! Coordinated but not too matchy-matchy.

How cute are those smiles? Each are so precious!

Sometimes you don’t need eye contact for a gorgoues portrait. I LOVE this one! It’s edited a little more softly and hazy.

Aren’t the bunting banners SO CUTE?!?! I love them so much. You can find them at StarLitNest on Etsy.

M family, best of luck in your new adventure!

Oh my darlin, oh my darlin, oh my darlin Clementine…..

I just could not resist using a real Clementines box and fruit when her mom told me her name. Isn’t she just beautiful?  And the below bassinet?  It’s been in the family for a couple generations, and passed around between family members when a new little one appears.

You may recognize Clementine’s big brothers and sisters… I’ve shot them a few times now.  This entire family is such a hoot and I love to go hang out, just as much to shoot.

Thanks again and again P family!

The S Family

January 25, 2011

I know how much fun my job is. I know that cuddling babies is so precious, and capturing toddlers smiles almost magical. Sometimes though… I’m reminded about how important my job is.  To capture your family, just the way you are, in that moment, forever.

Dad here is in the military armed forces, and by the time I post this… already deployed back overseas… again.  Eight months this time.  But, Lord willing… this will be his last deployment, and he’ll be back for good before Christmas.  So, it was my deepest honor to document and preserve the S family, in all of their preciousness.

I can’t believe that Mr. A has turned ONE already. It makes me a little sad that I won’t get to see him regularly anymore…. I’m already excited for our Fall session!
