Have you ever met someone that reminded you of yourself?  A little more depressingly… a better you?  That is kind of how I felt when I met Ariella.   A teen who reminded me of myself as a teen… those lips and that hair.  Except, she is much prettier than I ever was, and has the total confidence to work it…  These shots are for her modeling portfolio.

Two more recent girls I had the pleasure to photograph… first up is Jess~  She was super sweet, one of those girls who don’t realize *just how pretty they really are.*

Next is Tori… this girl is a nationally ranked Martial Arts star.  No Kidding!  If Jess was sweet, Tori is definitely Spice, we just laughed the entire time together.

The last few Fridays I have been shooting commercial Model/ Actress Headshots for an Agency in Rockville, MD. I have been having so much fun working with trained children and teens, and the Agency’s grounds are amazing and diverse (Bonus!).  These are just a couple of my first few favorites, as I start to edit.

This past weekend was south of crazy.   One bright spot?  I got to meet and hang with Katharine.  What a serious beauty, a quick to laugh, and a gentle soul.  College is lucky to have her this fall!

I had the great pleasure of spending a little time with Melan a few afternoons ago…. ya’ll should keep an eye out on your TV screens, b/c this girl is gorgeous and going places! Melan needed some headshots for her acting career, and I’m so tickled she chose me!

What a gorgeous smile, and she was so fun to hang out with!  On related news, it looks like a local Child Modeling and Acting agency has hired me to work with their students and clients and shott their headshots!  This is going to be a very fun venture, and I look forward to creating and working with those little guys!

Meet the S siblings…. these two children were seriously darling.  They were game for anything, and I was giggling through out most of the session.  What was most obvious, was their love for each other.

Meet Becky…  She’s a musical genius and such a gentle soul.  This beautiful senior is off to college for piano performance.

Finding this motorcycle was complete luck.  It was a spur of the moment shot, and afterwards I learned that her dad teaches motorcycle safety!

Things I know about Nick.  He is a technological genius.  He is a lover of fine cars and pups named Roxy.  He may just show up to church with a bleached blonde buzz cut on a whim.  He is of Russian descent.  He loves a great conversation.

She’s so beautiful inside and out! She really wanted a photo session for her 16th birthday, and her mom surprised her, isn’t that neat? These were shot after it had rained all day and the sun finally peeked out. This was also my last session before my official maternity leave…

Adorable…

Every single one of these kids. I have to be honest. When one of the aunts contacted me about a photo shoot of 8 kids, four under 4, I was nervous.

Until I got there. And every single one of them had eyelashes up-to-there, sweet smiles, and they were all very easy. There are 5 families represented here, all cousins. All beautiful spirits.
