Audrey is a special girl… she’s my favorite girl.  She pats my cheek and emphatically says “Hi Mom!”  Or sits on the opposite end of the couch and yells, “Mommy… MOMMY!”  And as I look at her, she smiles and says quietly, “Hi Mom.”  My Honey Girl loves her Buh-Pee (Puppy) and her sparkly shoes.  She wears them over her pajamas, and cries as I take them off for her nap.  She’s a clown who wants to make you laugh.  She’s the beauty of my heart.

Every baby is a sweet, sweet miracle. This perfect, beautiful baby girl was such a sweet mix of both her mommy and daddy.  I love when I gaze at a baby, and see their sweet expressions and think of the endless possibilities that lay ahead… Little Victoria is just breathtaking!

I get contacted quite a bit to shoot headshots for realtors, professionals and aspiring actors and models. Its a great gig! As much as I *love* photographing little ones, sometimes its a breath of fresh air for a teen or adult to pose exactly as I say how… lol.  All joking aside, I’m always happy to provide you a great headshot for whatever reason.

Most recently Felicia came to see me.  I’ve photographed her before and was so excited to see her smiling face again.  Don’t you just love her dimple?  She’s so beautiful!

Saturday, March 12, my sweet little boy turned four years old.  4!!  Where did that time go?  Lucas is still very much my little boy.  He’s sensitive, and still climbs into my lap for kisses and cuddles.  he’s still my helper in the kitchen and just loves to do anything cooking related.  His obsession over the last year?  Trains.  And more trains.  He’s not brand specific, he enjoys ANY locomotive of any type.

The birthday boy got his first bike with training wheels, a leapster, Lego Lotso’s truck, and Geotrax Aero.  I’m not speaking a different language.  Moms of boys should know what I just said, lol.  He was just thrilled, especially with the Aero.  he kept that clutched to his little chest most of the following two days.

We surprised Lucas by taking him to the Strasburg Railroad, so that he could take a train ride and tour the train museum.  Jackpot!  Little boy heaven! Above he’s pictured with the Train’s conductor.  Which by the way Lucas has informed me his name now is “Conductor.”

On March 13th, we were sitting around the breakfast table and Conductor announced that he was excited!  ”Why?” I asked.  ”Because I’m almost 5!”

This little beauty came to see me a few weeks ago.  Baby H charmed me with her soft coos and gorgeous smiles.  Her daddy was so smitten with her! This precious princess is well loved!

I really love a great referral. I fall in love with my clients, and its just a treat when they share my name, and I get to meet and photograph their own special peoplMrs. M is the cousin of another fabulous friend and client. Mr. M was also a youth pastor, just like my own husband. Connections like that are rare and fun. Mr. M however, is deploying as a military chaplain shortly, so they contacted me to preserve their beautiful family just as they are right now.

Mrs. M read my What To Wear guide, and really followed it’s advice. They look great! Coordinated but not too matchy-matchy.

“Sometimes the littlest things take up the biggest space in your heart…”

Precious Caleb has been wished for, prayed for, and waited for by many of his family.  There is an angel baby in heaven who preceded him, and boy are we all so ecstatic that Caleb was exactly what his family prayed for.  He is so beautiful, and such a dream baby.  A little older at 5 weeks, than my regular “newborns” he was great!  He was alert and hardly fussed.  A Dream Baby!

A short while ago my dear colleague Stephanie asked if she could use my studio photograph her newborn niece. See, Stephanie is from LA, but her brother and sister-in-law is in the DC metro area. Now, Stephanie is just the sweetest girl ever, and my twin (some say) so I said of course! While she was here I couldn’t help myself and squeezed a few off too… Charleigh is so beautiful!
