I’ve known the M family for about a year now. Little Miss T plays with my Audrey at church all the time.  Little buddies they are, for sure!  Miss T. is a girly girl through and through, loves her Mama, Daddy, and certainly her Bunny Rosie.  Bunny Rosie made it into several shots, but seemed to dash out for the Blog preview, lol.   I just love the bright colors the family is wearing, and I just love this family, period!

My Seth had a great birthday… “The Best One ever!” he has told me several times.   Which was a relief to me, because my husband’s grandmother had passed away, and the funeral was actually held on his birthday.  But it was indeed special, as he was surrounded by all of his cousins and family… and lets face it, he made out like a bandit!

Happy 6th Birthday Charlie McGee!

Storyboards are an incredible way to tell a story with your images.  The above storyboard was created using 3 images over a year of shooting session for a baby.  However, you can also create a powerful storyboard using a few images from the same session.  Storyboards can be made in 5×10, 10×20, 12×12 or 16×16 sizes.  They are mounted on thick matboard, and really lovely to display in easels.  (Just don’t mind the too-large easel above!).

I love this family… I met them two years ago when I shot their family session in their home. Looking back, I don’t think they have changed very much!  Since then our sons have played soccer together, and Mrs. S and I have cheered each other on in our running accomplishments.   When we were chatting about the location of this year’s shoot, Mrs. S mentioned that we had permission to use her neighbor’s acreage.  Don’t get me wrong… the lawn was gorgeous, but as soon as I saw the unmowed, tall grass waaaaaay in the back corner, I said “we’re going over there!”  I LOVE tall grass!

S family, it was a great time seeing ya’ll again, and Mrs. S, you’re going to rock the Marine Corps Marathon!

First up, are some macros of flowers hubster brought home this week… “just because.”  I love the soft pinks.

Next up is not for the faint of heart.

Many of you know that I am training for my first marathon.  I have about 6 weeks left, and I’ve completed a couple of 18 mile runs thus far.  Yesterday’s run had me out on a trail in the woods… when I saw this crazy caterpillar crossing my path.  A Hickory Horned Devil to be exact…

He’s a good 6 inches long and a good inch wide.  I scooped him up into a plastic bag and ran 10 miles with him, just so I could show my boys.  He’s currently living in my son’s bug jar… for now.  He is kind of creepy, so we’ll see how long he gets to stay… lol.

Ten days young and little M is just SO darling! This little peanut was perfect in every way!

I can’t believe Miss A has turned one already! I’ve photographed her newborn and six-month photos, and I LOVE that her parents came back for more.  I love watching my little babies grow!  Her mom picked a new location for me, and trust me, I’ll be going back for more!  Stunning grounds only slightly complimented Gorgeous Miss A.

She’s a little bit cute. If you didn’t know.  And then of course, her lovely parents.  Dad was the best stroller-filled-with-props-pusher ever.
