… but they are just Joey & Amy to me.  Dear friends of mine about to make a big move down south, so Dr. Amy can finish her residency.   This is just a sneak peek, there is more to come!

I love the month of May and everything it offers.  I love it’s mild weather and no mosquitoes.  I love firing up the grill and eating outside.  I love that it’s my wedding anniversary month.  I love that the trees are finally full of green leaves, and sweltering heat is close at hand.  I survive my winters for May.  I love May, and am just ridiculously excited it’s here.

Thursday, April 29th was Audrey’s first birthday. Not that I haven’t mentioned it once. Or twice. Okay, okay, 472 times. ;) It was a gorgeous day. All I had hoped it to be.  She loves all of her presents, and REALLY enjoyed her first cupcake.

Saturday, May 1st was her Polka Dot Party.  This whole first year polka dots, specifically pink and white ones have surfaced all over the place… in her room, in her clothing, her luggage… so it was only natural we went this route to celebrate.   It was the best party.  Close friends and family all here to sing to our girl.  This time she was ready for the cupcake, and hugged it tight and close.  lol.

She’s SO pretty. (sigh).

And now I have a one year old.  Happy Birthday my Honey Girl.
