Emmalee… {eastern shore md senior photography}

Meet Emmalee~ a lovely girl from across the Bridge who came to see me after Easter. I had just finished shooting some children, so its always a nice break to photograph a willing and lovely teen… I don’t have to quite “work so hard.” ;) We giggled our way through Denton & Caroline County, and as you can see, she was a trooper in her sleeveless and dresses… as it must have only been 50* degrees that day!

The Beautiful W Kids… {eastern shore maryland photographer}

We’ve seen this family before. I could practically start a new website solely devoted to the lovely W Kids. They are such great little souls, inside and out!I have really just enjoyed watching them grow… ever since the youngest was just a couple months old. Which, by the way, she’s only a few days younger than my Audrey…. so maybe thats another reason I’m so sentimental about this great family!

this family stepped out and helped my family when we were in need. this family loved us, held our hands, and helped walk us through a tough time.

is this a little personal for a photography blog? sure. but i love this family. they are my people.

Smith Wedding… {eastern shore md wedding photographer}

Last November J & M got married on a beautiful day at The Royal Oaks Inn on the Eastern Shore. It was intimate, classy, and just all around a fun and beautiful time! The couple got married on a dock over the water, and then we headed indoors for the festivities. CONGRATULATIONS J & M!

Merry Christmas & Happy New Years!

Seth

Seth (7) started 1st Grade this fall, and is already reading on a 2nd Grade level. He loves to build anything lego and is obsessed with anything Star Wars. Seth loves Tron and Phineas & Ferb.

Lucas

Lucas (4.5) is writing his name… backwards, forwards and upside down. He lives and breathes trains, and has no prejudice over which brand. Thomas, Geo Trax, Lionel… you name it. He really likes The Polar Express & Chuggington.

Audrey

Audrey (2.5) throws punches and drop-kicks, while wearing all of her necklaces and bracelets. She refuses to use the potty whatsoever. She loves “Sesmee Street” and Mickey Mouse Clubhouse.

Nate and I celebrated our 10th anniversary this year. Nate started the year as a Youth Pastor, and has ended the year accepted into Sheriff’s Academy. Big changes coming to our family! We moved two hours away to the Eastern Shore of Maryland this summer, and hopefully photography clientele will pick up for me this coming year. We are grateful to be living closer to family and watching God work in our life.

This shoot signifies the FIFTH session I’ve had with the always-lovely H family. I have truly loved watching the girls grow, and Mrs. H and I always just have a great time together. Little K & M aren’t so little anymore, but they are still as precious and spirited as ever! And my Audrey has hair bow envy, I tell ya!

A Bushel, A Peck, A Hug Around the Neck…. {denton md photographer}

I’ve been shooting for years…. into the double digits now… but this was the first time I’ve ever photographed twins. I won’t lie… Mama L won’t lie… it was tough work. One twin would get upset, sparking the other to also fuss.

But, ever the conquerer… we did it! We had a great session, and I got great expressions from these two darling L boys. The title? Words to a little song that Gramma would sing to get them to look up and smile. It was so sweet.

A precious squeeze for Gramma….

The H Family… {centreville md photographer}

Yikes! I am so behind in my blogging!

I went to High School with Mrs. H… dare I even mention Middle School? ;) Its been years since we’ve seen each other, so I can tell you with perfect honesty that Mrs H hasn’t changed one bit. She looks just as lovely now as she did back in the *ahem* mid-nineties.

I got to meet her gorgeous kids, and her daughter is just her little clone! Down to some of the brightest blue eyes you have EVER seen. We shot the session behind her parents’ home in Centreville, MD, here on the Eastern Shore.

It was great catching up B!
